While the first-gen Brio hatchback is still available on sale in India, Honda unveiled the second-gen 2019 Brio at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show in August 2018.

Honda cars in India attract attention and are widely embraced models in the country. The Brio hatchback is also one of the many such models, but is not a very popular choice among the masses mostly for its dated approach to everything. It is criticised for its close-packed cabin and not-so-impressive boot space.

The engine specifications, exterior and interior details of the recently unveiled 2019 Honda Brio cannot be provided with sure confirmation. However, it is certain that the exterior will have a more mature and convention look. It is also expected to come with more features and surely with better space inside.

Let us familiarise ourselves with detailed specifications and key features of the present first-gen Honda Brio model.

Variants available and Price

Honda Brio was initially introduced in 2011 and the first generation has been spanning until now. It is available in five variants, which include E MT, S MT, S (O) MT, VX MT and VX AT etc.

There are features like adjustable driver’s seat, AM/FM Radio on the dashboard, front cupholders, 12V power outlets, low fuel warning lamp, Seat Belt Warning, steering-mounted audio controls and music system. However, all of these are available in the top-of-the-line variant.
